Subj: Blessings

I'm in the midst of a year-long effort to purge my days of unnecessary
unpleasantness. So long, SoHa listserv! I'm no Pollyanna, but the world
has _far_ too many pressing and dire problems for me to turn my
attention to the traffic on your street, or mine, for that matter.

To those of you who've been helpful over the years, thank you. To those who stick up for the unjustly maligned and post excellent rebuttals to the
nonsense that passes through here, here's to your continued vigilance.

To the rest of you: a toast to you all, that fate never makes you painfully aware of and thankful for how petty and meaningless your 'problems' really are.
